The Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan took a decision about restoration since the 1^st of January, 2022, of the unilateral visa-free regime, introduced by the Republic of Kazakhstan for the citizens of 57 countries (the list is enclosed herewith), including the Republic of Lithuania.

In accordance with the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan №148 from 21 January, 2012, citizens of the mentioned 57 countries can enter, stay and leave the territory of Kazakhstan without visas, if the period of their stay does not exceed thirty calendar days from the moment of crossing the State border of Kazakhstan, a total of ninety calendar days during each period of one hundred and eighty calendar days.

According to preventive measures against the spread of the coronavirus, at present time crossing of the State border of Kazakhstan is restricted, with limited exemptions to certain categories of travellers, having special permissions of Interdepartmental Comission of the Government of Kazakhstan, and persons listed in the «Procedure for crossing the State border of the Republic of Kazakhstan from May 11, 2020, for the period of quarantine restrictions».

Due to epidemiological restrictions, foreign nationals and citizens of Kazakhstan, arriving to Kazakhstan, are required to have a negative COVID-19 PCR-test result issued no more than 72 hours before arrival, except children under age five. Despite posession of international vaccination passports, travellers unable to provide negative PCR-test in Kazakh, Russian or English languages, will be denied entry. Each traveller must fill out health questionnaire, undergo temperature screening and wear protective face masks.

* 2022 жылдың 1 қаңтарынан бастап аталған елдердің азаматтары Қазақстан Республикасына келу үшін 30 (отыз) күнге дейін визалық режимнен босатылады. Қазақстанның Үкіметі жанындағы Ведомствоаралық комиссияның арнайы рұқсаттары немесе «Карантиндік шектеулер кезеңінде 2020 жылғы 11 мамырдан бастап Қазақстанның Мемлекеттік шекарасын кесіп өту тәртібі» тармағында көрсетілген жолаушылардың кейбір босатылған санаттарында болуы қажет.

**Nuo 2022 m. sausio 1 d. šių šalių piliečiai be vizų  gali lankytis Kazachstano Respublikoje iki 30 (trisdešimties) dienų laikotarpyje. Reikalaujama turėti specialius Tarpžinybinės komisijos prie Kazachstano Respublikos Vyriausybės leidimus arba priklausyti kategorijai tam tikrų atleistų asmenų, išvardytų „Kazachstano Respublikos valstybės sienos kirtimo tvarkoje nuo 2020 m. gegužės 11 d., karantino apribojimų laikotarpiui“.

*** Starting from 1 January, 2022, nationals of these countries are exempted from visa requirements to visit the Republic of Kazakhstan up to 30 (thirty) days. Subject to possession of special permissions of Interdepartmental Comission of the Government of Kazakhstan, or adhere to certain exempted categories of travellers, listed in the «Procedure for crossing the State border of the Republic of Kazakhstan from May 11, 2020, for the period of quarantine restrictions».   

**** С 1 января 2022 года граждане этих стран освобождаются от виз для посещения Республики Казахстан сроком до 30 (тридцати) дней. Требуется наличие специальных разрешений Межведомственной комиссии при Правительстве РК или соответствие отдельным освобожденным категориям лиц, перечисленным в «Порядке пересечения Государственной границы Республики Казахстан с 11 мая 2020 года, на период действия карантинных ограничений».
