Cultural and humanitarian cooperation
On April 25 – May 2, 2008, Kazakhstan hosted the Days of Сulture of Turkmenistan. A Forum of cultural figures and intellectuals of the two countries was held.
On June 6-9, 2009, the Days of Culture of Kazakhstan were held in Turkmenistan.
On April 29 – May 2, 2014 the Days of Culture of Turkmenistan in Kazakhstan were held in Almaty.
On December 15-17, 2015, Ashgabat hosted the Days of Kazakh cinema.
On November 29-30, 2018, the Days of Culture of Kazakhstan in Turkmenistan were held in Ashgabat. Photo exhibitions, exhibitions of decorative and applied art were organized, and a gala concert was held by the creative team and leading artists of the Mangystau region.
On August 12, 2019, in Turkmenbashi Kazakh artists, including Adilkhan Makin, winner of the Grand Prix of the Slavic Bazaar 2019, performed at a gala concert dedicated to the First Caspian Economic Forum.
On November 18-23, 2019, in Ashgabat, within the framework of the III International Theater Festival, the Kazakhstan's “Zhastar” Theater presented the musical “Kyz Zhibek”.
