Consular registration for the citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan

In accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan residing abroad should apply for consular registration at the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan. 

 

Following categories of citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan might apply for consular registration to Consular section of the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Japan:

1. those, who temporarily staying on the territory of Japan;
2. those, who permanently residing on the territory of Japan.

 

For consular registration for citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan, permanently residing in Japan following documents required:

1. application;
2. questionnaire;

1. 3,5 х 4,5 sized photo;
2. a copy of the passport's first page ;
3. copy of document for permanent residence in Japan;
4. a copy of the Address Departure List or Departure Notice.

 

For consular registration for citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan, temporarily staying in Japan following documents required:

1. application;
2. questionnaire;

1. 3,5 х 4,5 sized photo;
2. a copy of the passport's first page ;
3. copy of the document granting the right to stay in Japan (visa, work / study permit);

 

Withdrawal from Consular Registration of the citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan, permanently or temporarily residing outside the Republic of Kazakhstan

In accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan, when returning for permanent residency to Kazakhstan or permanently moving to another country, must withdraw from the consular registration at the Consular Section of the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Japan. To withdraw from Consular registration following documents should be submitted:

For permanent residents:

1. application;
2. passport's first page copy (with the passport holder information);
3. Consular registration sheet or a copy of the passport's page with the consular registration stamp (for the citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan, permanently residing outside the Republic of Kazakhstan only).

For temporary residents:

1. application

For reference: A citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan removed from the register in the event of:

1) the application made by applicant him/herself or applicant's legal representative to the Consular Office for the removal from the consular registry;

2) receipt of a notification of the registration at another foreign mission;

3) the expiry of the period of his temporary residence or the termination of his permanent residence on the territory of the consular district specified in the registration card;

4) death, entry into legal force of a court decision on recognizing a person as missing, or declaring a person dead;

5) termination of citizenship of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
