Tree planting ceremony in honor of the 75th Anniversary of the Victory took place in Thailand

On May 8, 2020 at the initiative of the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Thailand, on the occasion of the 75th Anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic war (1941-1945) jointly with the Embassy of Russia, the Consulate-General of Uzbekistan and the Honorary Consulates of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, as well as participating of Deputy Mayor of Pattaya city Mr. R. Ekasingh held a tree planting ceremony in the famous Nong Nooch Tropical Garden, which is one of the top ten parks in the world.

This ceremony is aimed to pay tribute to all veterans and honors the memory of those who gave their lives in this bloody war.

In solidarity with the people and authorities of Thailand, in particular, Pattaya city, with regard to Covid-19, it was decided to hold this event without drawing the public in compliance with the standards and measures of social distance.
