Current issues of cooperation in the field of culture were discussed in Bangkok

On March 13, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Kingdom of Thailand H.E. Ms. Raushan Yesbulatova met with the Minister of Culture of the Kingdom of Thailand H.E. Mr. Itthiphol Kunplome.
During the meeting, the Ambassador discussed the prospects for bilateral cooperation in the field of culture for the upcoming period and informed the Minister about the events held by the Embassy of Kazakhstan in 2018-2019, such as performances of ensembles and dance groups from Kazakhstan, photo exhibitions and screenings of Kazakh movies.
Ms. Yesbulatova also said that according to the Program of modernization of public consciousness «Rukhani Zhangyru» and Program article of the First President of Kazakhstan N. Nazarbayev «Seven Facets of the Great Steppe», planning to hold events in Thailand dedicated to the 175th Anniversary of Abai Qunanbayuly and the 1150th Anniversary of al-Farabi.
In addition, the Ambassador highlighted famous Kazakh theaters, artists, and music groups.
At the end of the meeting, the Ambassador expressed the initiative of joint interaction that will promote the development of bilateral cooperation and familiarity with the national traditions of Kazakhstan and Thailand.
In his turn, Mr. Kunplome thanked for familiarization with the culture of Kazakhstan and supported the initiatives announced by the Ambassador, within the framework of the cultural calendar.
