Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Uzbekistan B.Atamkulov met with the Minister of Energy of Uzbekistan J.Mirzamakhmudov

Tashkent, on December 7, 2023, the meeting of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Uzbekistan B.Atamkulov with the Minister of Energy of the Republic of Uzbekistan Zh.Mirzamakhmudov.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the results of cooperation between the two countries in the energy sector by the end of 2023. It was noted that the execution of the instructions given following the results of the state visit of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan K.K.Tokayev to Uzbekistan in December 2022 is proceeding in accordance with the agreements. These are gas transit, crude oil transportation, coal supply, etc. Joint exploration work continues on the Ustyurt plateau.

The meeting emphasized the mutual focus on concrete steps and measures for further active cooperation in the field of energy, supported by specific plans and strategies.
