Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Uzbekistan B.Atamkulov met with Minister of Agriculture of Uzbekistan I.Abdurakhmonov

Tashkent, December 7, 2023 – the meeting of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Uzbekistan B.Atamkulov with the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan I.Abdurakhmonov took place.

The parties discussed the implementation of the points of the Roadmap between the Governments of both states in pursuance of the instructions given following the state visit of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan K.K.Tokayev to Uzbekistan in December 2022.

During the discussion, the need for interaction and expansion of cooperation between agricultural research institutes in the field of breeding, seed production, soil science and rational use of water was emphasized.

Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to work out mutual visits by delegations of competent government agencies and research centers to develop specific measures to implement the initiatives under discussion.
