Cooperation with “Otandastar” foundation
26-28 August, 2019 was arranged the visit of the leadership of Otandastar foundation. Delegation included representatives of business: Managing partner of “Smart Advisory” LLP, Head of QazAngels R.Rakhymbay, Head of “ABC-I2BF Seed Fund” A.Seifullin, founder and director of “Happycake Global” A.Soltanov. The main purpose of the visit is to establish contacts with gifted countrymen living in Silicon Valley, as well as a potential opening of the Kazakh cultural and business house in the state of California.
During the visit, was held a meeting with the Vice-President of the "Silicon Valley Innovation Center" D. Kurakin. A business forum was organized with young representatives of the Kazakh Diaspora. Kazakh people working in technology and start-up companies in Silicon valley also attended the event.
During the visit, representatives of Kazakhstan investment funds briefed about the existing mechanisms of support for startups, business projects and initiatives of countrymen, including specific promotion mechanisms in Kazakhstan as well as an assistance in entering international markets.
Visit of the Director of the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan
On December 9, 2019, the Director of the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan Arystanbek Mukhamediuly undertook a visit. During the visit, he held a meeting with the Director of the Asian Art Museum of San Francisco Jay Xu.
During the meeting were discussed the following issues: the establishment of direct contacts and cooperation between cultural organizations, as well as the organization of the exhibition "Altyn Adam" in San Francisco.
Following the meeting, the parties signed a Memorandum of understanding.
