Ambassador of Kazakhstan Meets with Young Students Ahead of Republic Day

Prague - Ahead of Republic Day, Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Czech Republic Kairat Abdrakhmanov and Embassy staff met with Kazakh students attending MSM Academy. The Prague-based institution specialises in foreign-language instruction and prepares students for admission to Czech and European universities.

Congratulating the young compatriots on the forthcoming holiday, the Ambassador emphasised the historical significance of Republic Day. He also highlighted the important role of the younger generation in Kazakhstan’s development and in implementing constitutional reforms. In addition, he underscored the importance of patriotism, quality education, in-depth knowledge and a responsible attitude towards the future of their homeland.

The meeting took the form of an open dialogue. The students spoke about their language studies, adaptation to life in the Czech Republic and further educational plans. The participants also exchanged views on maintaining ties with Kazakhstan and on young people’s participation in cultural and public events organised by the Embassy and the Kazakh community.

Representatives of the International Union of Youth (MSM), of which the Academy is a part, briefed the Ambassador on the organisation’s main areas of activity, including education, culture and sport. According to MSM, approximately 6,000 Kazakh citizens have participated in its educational programmes over the years. More than 200 young people from Kazakhstan join these programmes annually.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the Ambassador wished the students success in their studies and in achieving their goals. He expressed confidence that the knowledge and experience gained in the Czech Republic would provide a solid foundation for their professional development and future contribution to Kazakhstan’s progress.
