Trade and economic cooperation

According to Kazakh statistics, bilateral trade in 2025 amounted to USD 705.1 million, an increase of 13%. Kazakhstan’s exports totalled USD 121.3 million, down 20%, while imports amounted to USD 583.8 million, up 24.8%.

The discrepancy in statistical data is presumably due to the fact that Kazakhstan’s statistics do not reflect oil exports.

The main items of Kazakhstan’s exports are ferroalloys, hydrogen, inert gases and other non-metals, oil and gas sector products, chemical products (salts of phosphoric acids), hot-rolled flat products of non-alloy steel, and hard coal.

The main items of Kazakhstan’s imports are automotive components, aircraft, computers, internal combustion engines, pharmaceutical products, agricultural machinery, furniture, glass, and ceramics.

An important mechanism of bilateral cooperation is the Kazakhstan–Czech Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Industrial, Scientific and Technical Cooperation (IGC).
