Issuance, extension of entry and transit visas through the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan

1) visa application form for a visa with a color or black and white photograph measuring 3.5 x 4.5 centimeters - 1 copy ( download here);

          2) the number and date of the invitation registered with the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan or the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan (the number and date of issue of the invitation to the visa recipient is reported by the inviting party), copy - 1 copy;

          3) petition for the following categories of visa recipients who do not require an invitation from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan - 1 copy:

             - citizens of countries that are exempt from the need to present an invitation (single-entry visa) - “A3”, “B1”, “B3”, “B10” and “B12”:

             - former compatriots (having documents confirming connections with the Republic of Kazakhstan, including the corresponding mark in the column about the place of birth in the Kazakh Soviet Socialist Republic or in the Republic of Kazakhstan in the national passport, birth certificate or marriage certificate of the Kazakh Soviet Socialist Republic or the Republic of Kazakhstan , as well as a certificate of renunciation of citizenship of the Republic of Kazakhstan or loss of citizenship of the Republic of Kazakhstan) - “B10”;

             - foreigners or stateless persons - “B4”, “B5”, “B8”, “B10” (for funerals or in cases of illness of relatives/friends, family members or parents of citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as their legal representatives, family members of ethnic Kazakhs – single-entry visa), “B13”, “C1”, “C2”, “C4” (single-entry visa up to 90 days) and “C10”.

          4) a valid diplomatic, official, foreign passport of a foreign state, or other identity document recognized as such by the Republic of Kazakhstan and granting the right to cross the State border of the Republic of Kazakhstan, original and copy - 1 copy;

          5) a document confirming permission for permanent residence, long-term stay for business or investor purposes, employment, education, treatment in the Russian Federation, original and copy - 1 copy;

          6) document confirming payment of the consular fee;

          7) additional documents required to obtain a visa in accordance with Appendix 1 of the Rules for issuing visas of the Republic of Kazakhstan (depending on the category of the requested visa, download here).

From the moment of submission of the package of documents to the service provider - not more than 5 (five) working days.

When applying on the portal - 1 (one) working day.

In case the coordinating state body does not provide an answer within the specified period, the state service is provided within 1 working day after receiving the approval (when applying to the service provider).

 

Documents are not issued by mail.

Documents are accepted and issued only in person (for children and citizens declared incompetent by the court, their legal representatives (parents, guardians, trustees) with the provision of documents confirming the authority to represent)

The consular fee for a visa is:

          single-entry visa (except for tourist and transit visas) - 4,530 Russian rubles;

          multiple entry visa - (except for tourist and transit visas) - 11,320 Russian rubles;

          single-entry tourist visa - 3,400 Russian rubles;

          tourist multiple-entry visa - 5,100 Russian rubles;

          single-entry transit visa - 1,135 Russian rubles;

          transit multiple-entry visa - 5,100 Russian rubles.
