150th Anniversary of wrestler Kazhymukan Munaitpasov

April 7, 2021, Kazakhstan celebrates the 150th Anniversary of Kazhymukan Munaitpasov, great Kazakh wrestler and circus artist.

Kazhymukan Munaitpasov was the first Kazakh world champion in Greco-Roman wrestling. He became multiple winner of international heavyweight championships in wrestling. During his sports career he won 48 medals and was awarded with a unique honorary title – Batyr (Hero) of the Kazakh steppe.
