Kazakhstan celebrates 110 years since the birth of the outstanding director, actor Shaken Aimanov.
Aimanov tried himself in different roles. He became widely known for the film "Our Lovely Doctor", in which Aimanov showed himself as a film director and actor at the same time, and in the film "The Beardless Deceiver" he co-wrote the script, directed and played the lead role.
Aimanov used the cameo element in his film for the first time. His works include such films as "The Song Calls", "In One Neighbourhood", "Daughter of the Steppes" and others.
The 110th anniversary of the talented director is an occasion to remember his brilliant creations, which still inspire and excite viewers.
