Issuance of visas

Attention: Please do not send documents and visa application forms by mail. Documents sent by mail will not be processed.

Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan is not responsible for lost documents by mail!

Please submit your documents in person or through a travel agency.

Consular office has the right to require additional documents from applicants.

Citizens of the countries listed in table 1 can enter, leave and transit the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan without visas for up to 30 calendar days from the moment of crossing the state border.

If there is a justified need for further stay of businessmen of these countries on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan for more than 30 days, it is necessary to obtain a visa category "business" for up to 30 days - in the internal affairs authorities of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Simplified visa procedure

To obtain at the consulates of the Republic of Kazakhstan abroad single-entry visas of the Republic of Kazakhstan categories A3 (official), B1, B3 (business), B10 (private) and B12 (tourist) for up to 30 days for citizens of 48 countries listed in Table 2, invitation from the Republic of Kazakhstan is not required.

Purpose of travel: Diplomatic (A1) or official (A3).

Passport (valid for at least 3 months from the date of visa expiration, at least 2 blank pages in the passport).
Completed and signed application form with one current photo (3,5X4,5).
A note verbale or invitation to issue a visa with the employee's name, position, period of stay in Kazakhstan and purpose of travel.

Purpose of travel: Diplomatic (A2) or official (A4).

Passport (valid for at least 3 months from the date of visa expiration, at least 2 blank pages in the passport).
Completed and signed application form with one current photo (3,5X4,5).
A note verbale requesting a visa with the employee's name, position, period of stay in Kazakhstan and purpose of travel.
Copy of invitation from the Republic of Kazakhstan with visa support number of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Purpose of travel: Investor (A5)

Passport (valid for at least 3 months from the date of visa expiry, at least 2 blank pages in the passport).
Completed and signed application form with one current photo (3,5X4,5). In case of entry into the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan by automobile transport, it is necessary to indicate the vehicle brand and state number.
Copy of the invitation from the authorized body of the Republic of Kazakhstan on investment issues with the number of visa support of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
No consular fee is charged.

The purpose of the travel:

Business (B1)

Single - up to 90 days and the right to stay in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan up to 60 days, multiple - up to 1 year and the right to stay in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan up to 60 days at each entry;

Business (B2)

Single - up to 90 days and the right to stay in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan up to 30 days, multiple - up to 180 days and the right to stay in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan up to 90 days at each entry;

Business (B3)

Single - up to 90 days and the right to stay in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan up to 30 days, multiple - up to 1 year and the right to stay in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan up to 30 days at each entry;

Passport (valid for at least 3 months from the date of visa expiration, at least 2 blank pages in the passport).
Completed and signed application form with one current photo (3,5X4,5).
Letter from the company (employer) requesting a visa, indicating the purpose and timing of the visit.
Copy of the invitation from the Republic of Kazakhstan with the number of visa support of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Single entry visa - 75 euros;
Multiple entry visa:

1 year - 170 euros;

2 years - 330 euros;

3 years - 450 euros;

4 years - 600 euros;

5 years - 850 euros;

Children under 6 years of age are granted a visa free of charge.

The purpose of the travel: Internship or trainee visa (B7)

Single - up to 90 days and the right to stay on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the entire period,

Multiple - up to 180 days and the right to stay on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the entire period;

Passport (period of validity not less than 3 months from the moment of the visa expiration, not less than 2 blank pages in the passport).
Completed and signed application form with one actual photo (3,5X4,5).
Letter from the educational organization requesting a visa, indicating the purpose and dates of the visit.
Copy of the invitation from the Republic of Kazakhstan with the number of visa support of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Single entry visa - 75 euros;
Multiple entry visa:

1 year - 170 euros;

2 years - 330 euros;

The purpose of the travel: Permanent residence visa in the Republic of Kazakhstan (B8)

Single - up to 90 days and the right to stay on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the entire period,

Multiple - up to 90 days and the right to stay on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the entire period;

Passport (period of validity not less than 3 months from the moment of the visa expiration, not less than 2 blank pages in the passport).

The statement on desire to leave on permanent residence in the Republic of Kazakhstan (for citizens of 48 countries).
Notarized agreement or notarized consent with an individual or legal entity to provide the applicant with housing for residence and permanent registration (for citizens of 48 countries).

Single entry visa - 75 euros;
Multiple entry visa:

1 year - 170 euros;

2 years - 330 euros;

3 years - 450 euros;

4 years - 600 euros;

5 years - 850 euros;

Purpose of travel: Private (B10)

Single - up to 90 days and the right to stay on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the entire period,

Multiple - up to 180 days and the right to stay on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan up to 90 days at each entry;

Passport (valid for at least 3 months from the date of visa expiration, at least 2 blank pages in the passport)

Invitation issued by the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Single entry visa - 75 euros;
Multiple entry visa:

1 year - 170 euros;

2 years - 330 euros;

3 years - 450 euros;

4 years - 600 euros;

5 years - 850 euros;

Purpose of travel: Private (C10) (multiple - up to three years and the right to stay on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan). Issued to ethnic Kazakhs in the presence of supporting documents (birth certificate, etc.).

Passport (valid for at least 3 months from the date of visa expiration, at least 2 blank pages in the passport)
Completed and signed application form with one actual photo (3,5X4,5). In case of entry into the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan by automobile transport, it is necessary to indicate the vehicle brand and state number.
Personal application to the Consul in any form.
Consular fee is not charged.

Attention: Visas of "private" category are issued to the following persons:

Foreign citizens - former compatriots without invitation (up to 90 days);
Foreign citizens who have an invitation issued by the Department of Internal Affairs of regions, Astana, Almaty;
Foreign nationals who have visa support from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

Purpose of travel: Tourist (B12)

Single - up to 90 days and the right to stay on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan up to 30 days,

Multiple - up to 90 days and the right to stay on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan up to 30 days at each entry.

Passport (valid for at least 3 months from the date of visa expiry, at least 2 blank pages in the passport).
Completed and signed application form with one current photo (3,5X4,5). In case of entry into the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan by automobile transport, it is necessary to indicate the vehicle brand and state number.
Copy of the invitation from the Republic of Kazakhstan with the number of visa support of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

It is also provided for the issuance of a multiple entry tourist visa up to 90 days and the right to stay in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan up to 30 days each arrival on the basis of the above documents and visa support.

Single entry visa - 50 Euro;
Multiple entry visa - 80 Euros;

For children under 6 years old a visa is issued free of charge.

Attention: Visas of tourist category are issued to the following persons:

Foreign citizens - citizens of 48 countries without invitation (up to 30 days);

Trip purpose: Transit (B13)

Single - up to 90 days and the right to stay on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan within 5 days in one direction;

Multiple - up to 180 days and right to stay on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan within 5 days in one direction.

Passport (valid for at least 3 months from the date of visa expiration, at least 2 blank pages in the passport).
Completed and signed application form with one current photo (3,5X4,5). In case of entry into the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan by automobile transport, it is necessary to indicate the vehicle brand and state number.

Personal application to the Consulate in any form.

A copy of the first page of the passport with the applicant's personal data, a copy of a valid visa to a third country, travel documents or other grounds entitling the applicant to enter the country of destination.
The original receipt for the payment of the consular fee (in case of payment of consular services from a personal bank account, please provide an account statement).

Single entry visa - 15 Euro;
Multiple entry visa - 80 Euro;

For children under 6 years of age a visa is issued free of charge.

Purpose of travel: Visa for family reunion (C2).

Single - up to 90 days and the right to stay on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the entire period;

Multiple - up to 1 year and the right to stay on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the whole period.

Passport (period of validity not less than 3 months from the moment of the visa expiration, at least 2 blank pages in the passport).
Completed and signed application form with one current photo (3,5X4,5).
Personal application to the Consulate in any form.
Permission for temporary residence of the inviting person.
Confirmation of the availability of money for the maintenance of each family member per month in the amount not less than the minimum wage established by law of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Confirmation that the inviting person has housing in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the area of which corresponds to the established minimum standards for each family member, as well as sanitary and other standards established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan (notary copy);
Medical insurance.
Document confirming the presence or absence of a criminal record, for adult family members.

Single entry visa - 75 euros;
Multiple entry visa:

1 year - 170 euros;

2 years - 330 euros;

3 years - 450 euros;
