Key contracts and agreements
- Agreement between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Portuguese Republic on the suppression of visas for holders of diplomatic passports;
- Memorandum of cooperation between the ministries foreign affairs of two countries.
The parties are considering a number of bilateral documents:
- Intergovernmental agreements on economic, trade and technical cooperation (on Kazakhstan side), on avoidance of double taxation and tax evasion (Kazakhstan), on international road transport of passengers and goods (Portugal);
- agreements in the field of criminal proceedings: on the transfer of convicted persons, on extradition, on legal assistance in criminal matters (Kazakhstan);
- an agreement on cooperation in the field of language, education, science. technology, higher education, culture, sports, youth and the media (Portugal).
