Consular and Visa Matters

The consular institution of the Republic of Kazakhstan exercises functions to protect the rights and interests of citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan abroad and provides services for citizens of the RK and foreign citizens on the basis of current normative acts approved by the authorized state bodies of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Consular Charter of the RK, as well as the Vienna Convention on Consular Relations of 1963, to which the Republic of Kazakhstan acceded in the spring of 1993.

WORKING HOURS OF THE CONSULAR SECTION

Reception of visitors on consular matters is carried out daily, except Wednesdays, weekends, and public holidays of the RK and Germany, from 09:00 to 12:30 by prior appointment.

The acceptance and maintenance of accounting-statistical, financial, business, and technical documentation are carried out in the state (Kazakh) and official (Russian) languages (Art. 7 of the Constitution of the RK, Art. 10, 15 of the Law of the RK "On Languages").
