Renunciation of citizenship of the Republic of Kazakhstan

Renunciation of citizenship is a type of termination of citizenship of the Republic of Kazakhstan. It is carried out on the basis of a petition from a person permanently residing abroad.

Is not carried out in cases of:

If a person has unfulfilled obligations to the Republic of Kazakhstan or property obligations;
If a person has been notified of a decision on the qualification of the suspect's act or is serving a sentence under a court verdict that has entered into force or is contrary to the interests of the national security of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

LIST OF DOCUMENTS

Application form.
Autobiography (written in his own hand).
The photo is 3.5 x 4.5 centimeters in size.
A copy of the identity document.
Permanent residence permit issued by the internal affairs bodies of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Certificate of the presence or absence of a criminal record.
Copies of birth certificates of children and marriage (if available).
A document confirming the possibility of obtaining foreign citizenship.
A document confirming the payment of the consular fee.
A notarized application is a consent to renounce the citizenship of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the absence of material and other claims from the applicant's spouse, parents or dependents residing in the Republic of Kazakhstan, or copies of their death certificates, a court decision declaring the citizen deceased or missing (if any).
When submitting an application by a minor, his/her certified written consent (from 14 to 18 years old) is required.
