Cultural and humanitarian ties are actively expanding between Kazakhstan and the UAE.
February 18-28, 2019 - in Sharjah and Khor Fakkan hosted a week of Kazakhstani cultural heritage with the support of the Institute of Cultural Heritage of the Emirate of Sharjah.
April 24-27, 2019 - in Abu Dhabi, the Astana Ballet Theater took part in the Islamic Cooperation Festival, organized by the OIC, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and the Abu Dhabi Department of Culture and Tourism.
September 26, 2020 - as part of the celebration of the 175th anniversary of the Kazakh poet and philosopher Abai Kunanbayev, with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the cultural and educational hall “Abai” was opened in the Embassy building.
March 18, 2021 - as part of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the exhibition “The World Through the Eyes of Children” opened at the Embassy, introducing UAE nationals to the creative works of young Kazakhstanis with special educational needs and amazing talents.
March 20 to April 20, 2021 - Kazakh artisans from Astana and Zhambyl region took part in the Cultural Heritage Festival in Sharjah.
On October 11, 2023 - a branch of the Muslim Council of Elders was opened in Astana.
