Issuance of a certificate of return to citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan(link to the rules)
Certificate of Return (CRC) - an identity document confirming the right of its holder to enter the Republic of Kazakhstan once.
The Certificate of Return is issued by the foreign institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan:
1) citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan - in cases of loss of a passport of a citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan, identity card of a citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan, provided by international treaties and agreements of the Republic of Kazakhstan, diplomatic or service passport of the Republic of Kazakhstan, or expiration of their validity during their stay outside the Republic of Kazakhstan;
2) to minor citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan - in case of their birth outside the Republic of Kazakhstan;
3) stateless persons permanently residing in the Republic of Kazakhstan - in case of loss of the certificate of a stateless person during their stay outside of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
4) refugees - in case of loss of a travel document during their stay outside the Republic of Kazakhstan;
5) citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan and stateless persons permanently residing in the Republic of Kazakhstan who have invalid documents for entry into the Republic of Kazakhstan or who have lost documents for entry into the Republic of Kazakhstan - in cases of their expulsion to the Republic of Kazakhstan, extradition to the Republic of Kazakhstan or transfer to the Republic of Kazakhstan in accordance with the international treaty on readmission ratified by the Republic of Kazakhstan.
LIST OF DOCUMENTS
1) Application;
2) a document issued by a competent authority of a foreign state, confirming the fact of applying for the loss of an identity document (in case of loss); If a newborn child is born, then a legalized (link) local medical birth certificate (legalized at the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Consulate General of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Dubai) and a translation (legal translation) into the state or Russian language are required.
3) two 3.5x4.5 cm colour photographs;
4) the original document confirming the payment of the consular fee;
5) the original of one of the identity documents (if available) or an electronic identity document provided through the service of digital documents, and in case of its absence, the completed Application Form;
6) an appropriate document issued by a medical institution of a foreign country confirming the fact of gender reassignment (in case of gender reassignment).
TERM OF STATE SERVICE PROVISION
2 working days - in the presence of the original of one of the identity documents.
10 working days - in the absence of the original of one of the identity documents.
