A number of bilateral meetings were held within the framework of the Meeting of Heads of Defense Ministries of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Member States

Astana, 26 April 2024 – Minister of Defense of Kazakhstan Colonel-General Ruslan Zhaxylykov held talks with the Defense Secretary of the Republic of India Mr. Giridhar Aramane.

The parties discussed the current situation and prospects of bilateral relations between the Ministries. Special attention was paid to the issues of military education and science, combat training, peacekeeping activities and military-technical cooperation.

At the end of the meeting Colonel-General Ruslan Zhaxylykov expressed his gratitude for participation to the meeting and conveyed his warmest wishes to the Defense Minister of India – Mr. Rajnath Singh.
