Agreements were reached with the company “Savana Sementes”

Brasilia, March 4, 2024 – The Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Brazil Bolat Nussupov held a meeting with the President of the company “Savana Sementes” Luciano Ferreira, during of which the Brazilian side informed about the results of a business trip to Kazakhstan on February 12-17 this year.

In particular, at the meeting with the Director of the department of international cooperation of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan Mrs. M. Kisanova, it has took place an exchange of information about the development of soybean production market in the Republic of Kazakhstan and measures for state support of Kazakh agricultural producers. During negotiations with Kazakh partner in the Karaganda region an agreement to create a joint venture to grow biological soybeans using Brazilian technology was reached.

As the further step the Brazilian company plans in April this year send their specialists (technologists) to Kazakhstan for technological support and implementation of this technology.

As a result of the meeting, L.Ferreira was invited to the third meeting of the “Kazakhstan-Brazil” Business Council in May in Porto Alegre and to the Astana International Forum in June this year.
