Issues of economic cooperation discussed

Brazil, December 7, 2023 - At the Embassy of Kazakhstan to Brazil, Ambassador Bolat Nusыupov met with the Vice-Governor of the Federal District of Brasilia, Secretary (Minister) for International Cooperation Paco Britto.

The parties discussed issues of expanding cooperation between the Federal District of Brazil and the capital region of Kazakhstan within the framework of the Protocol of Intent on Friendship and Cooperation between Astana and Brasilia signed on October 23, 2018.

In particular, an exchange of proposals took place on the implementation of joint projects in the trade, economic, cultural and educational spheres of cooperation between the capitals of the two states in 2024.

The Ambassador of Kazakhstan thanked the guest for the participation of high representatives of the federal district in the ceremonial events on the Astana Day occasion on July 6 of this year. During the conversation, the parties also exchanged congratulations on the occasion of the
30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Kazakhstan and Brazil.
