Business circles of the state of Rio Grande do Sul are interested in cooperation

Porto Alegre, May 21, 2021 – Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Brazil Bolat Nussupov as part of his stay in Porto Alegre held a number of meetings with the representatives of the business community of the state of Rio Grande do Sul.

At the meeting with the leadership of the Brazilian Angus Association, prospects for cooperation in the supply of pedigree livestock from Brazil to Kazakhstan were discussed. The parties exchanged information on certification and veterinary standards in this area.

During the negotiations with the head of the "Fundacine" company, issues of cooperation in the cultural, humanitarian and cinematographic spheres were discussed. The Brazilian side invited the Embassy to take part in the International Festival of Cultures, which is held annually in the state capital.

An online meeting was also held with the management of the "Marfrig" company regarding the supply of Brazilian beef, as well as joint processing of meat in Kazakhstan.
