Diplomatic Reception in Beirut on the occasion of the Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan

On October 24, the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Lebanon hosted a diplomatic reception in Beirut to mark the Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The event brought together around 200 guests, including Lebanese political figures, government officials, journalists, academics, foreign diplomats, and Kazakh citizens residing in Lebanon. Among the guests of honor were Minister of Administrative Reform Fadi Makki, who represented the President of the Lebanese Republic, Joseph Aoun, and Governor of Beirut Marwan Abboud.

In his remarks, Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Lebanon Rasul Jumaly highlighted the friendly and steadily developing relations between the two countries and expressed his best wishes for Lebanon’s continued stability and prosperity. He also spoke briefly about Kazakhstan’s historical path of nation-building, as well as its economic and cultural achievements. Particular emphasis was placed on Kazakhstan’s multi-vector foreign policy, which enables the country to pursue dynamic development while maintaining friendly and mutually beneficial relations with nations both near and far — including those of the Arab world.

The Honorary Consul of Kazakhstan in Lebanon and Chief Executive Officer of the Lebanese «Consolidated Construction Company», Mr. Wajdi Malouf, also delivered a presentation on the promising prospects for cooperation with Kazakhstan. It should be noted that this company served as the sponsor of the reception.

Guests enjoyed a video presentation about Kazakhstan accompanied by the national instrument - the Dombra, as well as a photo exhibition and traditional Kazakh cuisine.
