On February 23, 2021, a meeting was held with the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce Industries, Mines and Agriculture of Hormozgan Province, Mr.Mohammad Reza Safa.

The meeting was attended by the Head of the Representation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Hormozgan province Mr.S. Shaban, Secretary General of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mineral Resources and Agriculture of Hormozgan Province Mr.Payam Rezaei,and responsible for economic affairs of the Representation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Hormozgan province Ms.Samira Asadi.

The issues of cooperation between the regions of the two countries were discussed at the meeting. In this context, the possibilities of purchasing of grain from Kazakhstan and freight transportation, the exchange of experience in the maritime sector was considered.
