In order to ensure the implementation of task 10 “Smart cities” for a “smart nation” of the Address of the Head of State to the people of Kazakhstan dated January 10, 2018 “New development opportunities in the conditions of the fourth industrial revolution”, I ORDER:
- Approve the Guidelines for the construction of "smart" cities (Reference standard for "smart" cities of the Republic of Kazakhstan) (hereinafter referred to as the Reference Standard) in accordance with the annex to this order.
- To recommend the akimats of regions, cities of republican significance, the capital to use this Reference Standard when building "smart" cities.
- To the Department of Interaction with the Regions of the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan (hereinafter referred to as the Ministry):
- ensure that smart city initiatives are evaluated annually against the Reference Standard;
- place this order on the Internet resource of the Ministry.
- Cancel the order of the Acting Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 10, 2019 No. 152/НҚ "On Approval of Methodological Recommendations for Building Smart Cities (Reference Standard for Smart Cities of the Republic of Kazakhstan)".
- To impose control over the execution of this order on the supervising vice minister of digital development, innovation and aerospace industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
- This order comes into force from the date of its signing.
