Name Zhanaozen City Development Program for 2016-2020
The basis for the development of the Resolution of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated November 29, 2017 No. 790 "On approval of the state planning system of the Republic of Kazakhstan", Order of the Minister of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated February 19, 2018 No. 64 "on some issues of the state planning system in the Republic of Kazakhstan".
Reorganized to align and optimize the "basic list of indicators" approved by the Order of the Minister of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 19, 2018 No. 104.
The main characteristics of the region the city of Zhanaozen, which is under the jurisdiction of the region, was founded in 1968. The distance from the regional center of Aktau to the city of Zhanaozen is 150 kilometers. The total area of the city is 0.515 thousand square kilometers, which is 0.3% of the territory of the region. The population of the city of Zhanaozen and adjacent settlements amounted to 154.0 thousand people, 22.0% of the population of the region.The Zhanaozen city administration includes the village of tenge (population 22.1 thousand people), the village of Kyzylsay (7.4 thousand people) and the village of Rakhat (43.3 thousand man).The volume of industrial production in 2019 amounted to 194.9 billion tenge, the share in the regional volume is 10.1%.
