The State Institution "Department of Agriculture, Land Relations and Entrepreneurship of the City of Kurchatov, Abay Region" (hereinafter referred to as the Department) implements state policy in the field of agriculture, land relations and the development of small and medium-sized businesses in the city of Kurchatov.
There are 1 peasant and 2 farms operating in the city. The main problematic issue of agriculture in the city of Kurchatov is the lack of agricultural land. But, despite this, there is a slight increase. According to the results of 11 months of 2024, agricultural production amounted to:
meat 87.1 tons (an increase of 7.8% compared to the same period last year);
milk 434.6 tons (an increase of 3.5% compared to the same period last year);
eggs 75.2 thousand pieces (a decrease of 27.2% compared to the same period last year).
