Ust-Kamenogorsk is a center for processing agricultural products.

The finished products of food enterprises are supplied to other regions of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The main processing enterprises are located on the territory of the city.:

Dairy processing enterprises: Emil LLP and Vostok Moloko LLP.

Meat processing companies: Ust-Kamenogorsk Meat Cannery Ulan LLP, Kokzhal LLP.

Sunflower oil processing: JSC "May", LLP "Ust-Kamenogorsk oil extraction plant", LLP "Ust-Kamenogorsk creamery", LLP "Vostokekoline", LLP "Yantar UK".

The following projects are planned for implementation this year:

"Construction of a grain storage facility for 20 thousand tons" by AITAS AGRO ASTYK LLP. The project cost is 4.6 billion tenge, (0.9 billion tenge own funds, 3.69 billion tenge - borrowed through the People's Bank).

The planned commissioning of the plant is 2025-2026.

Molochny Express LLP, Expansion with reconstruction and re-equipment of existing production base buildings by building an extension at 199 Abai Ave. for a milk processing plant with technical equipment for milk processing, packaging and storage of dairy products. The project cost is 3.8 billion tenge (own 0.8 billion tenge and borrowed concessional loans of 3 billion tenge) with the creation of 500 jobs. The implementation dates are 2024-2026.

Oskemen Agroproduct LLP, "Processing of crop production". Refined oil up to 30,000 tons, lecithin up to 3,000 thousand tons. The project cost is 1.03 billion tenge, (0.156 billion tenge own funds, 0.882 billion tenge - borrowed through ACC).
