«Кәдесыйдың ханшайымы» meeting

On November 15, a meeting titled "The Princess of Souvenirs" took place at the East Kazakhstan Regional Library for Children and Youth with the renowned collector-ethnographer, the owner of the only private museum in Kazakhstan showcasing antique gold and silver items of Turkic peoples, president of the company "Ademi-Ai PiUs", and deputy of district №9 in the Astana city maslikhat, Bahargul Tolegen. She has been collecting antique items from the peoples of Central Asia and Kazakhstan for over 20 years.

The guest brought a small part of her collection to share with our readers. In her address, she emphasized the importance of preserving and passing on the heritage of our ancestors to future generations.

From the very beginning, the attention of the audience was drawn to the exhibition. Special interest was sparked by household items from the 18th century, including women's headwear, hair ornaments, amulets, bracelets, and boxes. Modern items were also presented: collections of jewelry and souvenir products in a national style.

The meeting took place in a friendly atmosphere, where everyone had the opportunity to ask questions and expand their knowledge.

At the end of the meeting, under the sounds of the dombyra, the song "Sandugash" was performed by Talaptanova Talshyn, a student of the Arts College named after the People's Artists of the Abdullin Brothers. Bahargul Tolegen also presented her book "Kazakh Qyzymyn" ("I Am a Kazakh Girl") to the library as a gift.
