Ridder local history museum. Ecology Lesson. October-november 2024: «Ecological Footprint and Environmental Practicality».

Middle and high school students from the city actively participated in a discussion on «Ecological Footprint and Environmental Practicality».  Using examples from the ecosystem of the Ridder region, they concluded that an ecological footprint can be measured at the individual, city, country, or planetary level and is compared to the ecosystem's ability to replenish those resources. They also recognized the importance of each resident in practicing environmental responsibility.
