The main activities Of the Department of passenger transport and highways of the Turkestan region are:
- organization and coordination of work on the implementation of state policy in the field of roads and road activities, road transport;
- implementation of action plans in the areas of passenger transport, roads and road activities;
- creating conditions to meet the needs of the economy and the population in road transport and other works and services;
- ensuring the requirements of road safety on the roads of regional significance in the framework of its competence;
- coordination and regulation of work related to inter-regional transportation of passengers and Luggage by road.
