Yerzhan Yerkinbayev was born in 1982 in Zhambyl region.
He graduated from the Kazakh State Law Academy, the International Academy of Business and the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration under the President of the Russian Federation.
He started his career in 2002 as a lawyer in a private company. At various times he worked as a lawyer, project manager in private companies. In 2009-2013 — General Director of the ski resort «Shymbulak». In 2013-2016 — General Director of the Medeu sports complex. In 2016-2019 — Director of the Almaty State Zoological Park.
In 2019-2020 — Chairman of the Board of JSC «Kazakh Tourism National Company».
In 2021-2023- Vice-Minister of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
By the decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yerkinbayev Yerzhan Malikovich was appointed to the post of Vice-Minister of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
