Operational-tactical command and staff exercise "Aldaspan-2020"

The main purpose of the exercise is to work out joint actions in the fight against illegal armed groups. A group of troops that has arrived in the area of military maneuvers must receive a combat training task, conduct reconnaissance of the area, identify the location of a simulated enemy, and conduct a special operation to restore stability in the crisis area.

A special feature of the exercise is the introduction of the experience of modern armed conflicts, when management bodies and headquarters, in contrast to the classic decision-making, plan combat operations on a daily basis, clarifying the tasks of the units taking into account the rapidly changing situation. This makes it possible to use the available forces and resources more effectively, save material and save human resources.

In addition, during the exercise, it is planned to use new forms and methods of using tank units and army aviation forces, which have shown their effectiveness in the fight against illegal armed groups.
