He was born on August 12, 1981, in the Zhambyl District of Almaty Region.
In 2002, he graduated with honors from the Military Academy of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In subsequent years, he completed a number of operational and command training courses within the national security and state security systems.
In 2025, he graduated from the National Defense University.
Progressed through all stages of officer service in the State Security Service of the Republic of Kazakhstan, successively holding command and senior leadership positions.
In January 2024, he was appointed Commander of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
On September 27, 2026, by Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, appointed as Minister of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Military rank: Major General (2026)
He was awarded the Order of «Aibyn», 2nd Class, in 2022.
He is married and has three children.
