Results of the Appeal Commission’s work
Of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the 1st half of 2021.
For the 1st half of 2021, 18 meetings of the Appeal Commission were held, 253 complaints were considered, the arguments of taxpayers/participants of foreign economic activity were supported and the results of inspections on 62 complaints were canceled, which is 25% of the total number of complaints considered, and additionally accrued taxes and duties in the amount of KZT 13.8 billion were recognized as illegal.
90 representatives of taxpayers and foreign trade participants took part in the meetings of the Appeal Commission for the 1st half of 2021 and presented their arguments directly to the members of the Appeal Commission.
On the official website of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan (www.minfin.gov.kz) in the section "Activity/Appeal Commission/Practice of consideration of tax and customs disputes " 583 decisions on tax and customs disputes were posted, including 84 decisions for the 1st half of 2021. In addition, 180 decisions on tax and customs disputes have been posted on the Internet resources of the business community "Taxes in Kazakhstan" and "Accounting KZ".
