Diplomatic relations between the Republic of Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan were established on October 5, 1992.

The Consulate of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Turkmenbashi city began to function in December 2014 (Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 5, 2014 No. 773).

Since Аugust 2023, Zhanibek Zhumbergenov has been the Consul - Head of the Consulate of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Turkmenbashi city.

The site is presented to familiarize the general public with the activities of the Consulate in Turkmenbashi, as well as provide information support to Kazakhstans citizens living in Turkmenistan and foreign citizens who intend to visit Kazakhstan as a tourist or establish business contacts with the country.
