Working Hours:
Acceptance of Application: Monday to Friday between 9:15 and 11:45 a.m. (online booking of appointment between 09:15 and 11:45 a.m. by the link https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/mfa-tokyo/online-booking?lang=ru).
Issuance of documents and visas: between 4:00 and 5:00 p.m.
The Consular Section is remains closed on Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday, as well as on public holidays (state and national holidays) of Kazakhstan.

- an invitation (when applying for a visa at a foreign institution of the Republic of Kazakhstan or the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the number, date of the invitation registered with the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan or the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan (the number and date of issue of the invitation to the visa recipient is reported by the inviting party), or the request of the recipient of the visa category).

- There is no visa issuance fee for Japanese citizens. For other citizens, please contact the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Visa expenses – please transfer the consular fee to the bank account of the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Japan at the rate indicated in the following link in Japanese yen https://www.bk.mufg.jp/ippan/kinri/list_j/kinri/kawase.html.
However, Japanese citizens are exempted from the fees mentioned above.
