The Consulate General, within the framework of its jurisdiction, ensures the protection of the rights and interests of citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The jurisdiction of the Consulate General (consular district) includes the following departments: Ardennes, Aube, Marne, Haute Marne, Meurthe-et-Moselle, Meuse, Moselle, Bas-Rhine, Haute Rhine, and Vosges (the territory of the entire region of Grand Est).

Consular services have been provided to citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan and France since March 2021.

The Consulate General contributes to the strengthening of mutually beneficial trade, economic, cultural, and humanitarian cooperation between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the region of Grand Est

The Consulate General is also engaged in the development of comprehensive cooperation with the Council of Europe.
