The Republic of Indonesia recognized the independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan on December 28, 1991. Diplomatic relations between Kazakhstan and Indonesia were established on June 2, 1993. The Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Indonesia was opened in April 2012.
On October 23, 2023 Mr. Serzhan Abdykarimov was appointed as the Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Indonesia.
The site is intended to familiarize the general public with the activities of the diplomatic mission of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Jakarta, as well as provide information support to citizens of Kazakhstan living in Indonesia and foreign citizens who intend to visit Kazakhstan as a tourist or establish business contacts.
