The Embassy operates within the system of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan and fulfills a key foreign policy mission to strengthen cooperation and mutual understanding both bilaterally between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Kingdom of the Netherlands and within the framework of international organizations.

– Representing and protecting the national interests of the Republic of Kazakhstan within the Kingdom of the Netherlands;

– Developing and strengthening bilateral cooperation with the Kingdom of the Netherlands in the fields of politics, economy, culture, science, and education;

– Facilitating the establishment of business ties and promotion of investment initiatives between entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Kingdom of the Netherlands;

– Participating in the development, negotiation, and implementation of international agreements;

– Performing consular functions and providing up-to-date reference and legal information;

– Engaging with and supporting the Kazakh community residing in the Kingdom of the Netherlands;

– Promoting academic and scientific exchange and expanding contacts between universities and research centers of the two countries;

– Participating in the activities of international organizations located in The Hague and promoting the foreign policy initiatives of the Republic of Kazakhstan on multilateral platforms;

– Supporting the development of tourism cooperation and promoting the Republic of Kazakhstan as a modern and diverse travel destination, open and hospitable to the citizens of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
