Graduated from Shymkent Pedagogical Institute named after M.Auezov and Karaganda University of Economics.
Started his career as a history teacher.
In 1994, entered the diplomatic service in the Consular Department.
Headed the Department of the Central Office and educational institutions of the Personnel Department, was the head of the Personnel Department, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Director of the Administration and Control Department and the CIS Department.
Worked at the Embassies of Kazakhstan in Russia and Uzbekistan.
Also held the position of Deputy Head of the Department of Economic Policy and Trade of the Akim's Office of the North Kazakhstan region.
Prior to his appointment as Kazakhstan's Ambassador to Tajikistan, was Director of the Central Asia Department.
Has the diplomatic rank of Envoy Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the II class.
