Dear fellow countrymen!

December 16, 1991, is a significant date in the history of our country. It symbolizes the realization of our ancestors' dream of a sovereign state and is celebrated as a day of remembrance for national heroes who made significant contributions to achieving independence.

The essence of this date is the well-deserved sovereignty of Kazakhstan, a republic with clearly defined territories recognized by the entire international community, a developed economy, and a united nation.
This young state, by historical standards, has achieved significant success in its economy, domestic policy, and foreign policy.

Independence Day is a celebration of unity, a commitment to the successful development and strengthening of statehood, and a day of remembrance for those who, through hardship, led the republic to sovereignty.
