Dear veterans and home front workers, residents and guests of Karabalyk!
I cordially congratulate you on the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War!
On May 9, we bow our heads to the memory of those who did not return from the battlefields, pay tribute and gratitude to veterans, front–line soldiers and home front workers.
Our people have made an invaluable contribution to the common Victory. Kazakhstanis fought heroically on all fronts of the war, and almost half of them did not return home.
The Karabalyk land sent more than 4,000 of its best sons and daughters to the front. Of these, only two thousand soldiers returned from the battlefields.
Thanks to the dedication of the home front workers, Kazakhstan has played a special role in supplying the army. During the war, hundreds of factories were evacuated to our republic. We have sent thousands of wagons of clothes and food to the front.
Relocated from the Moscow region to the village of Komsomolets, military plant No. 222, the only one in the country, produced automatic anti-tank flamethrowers. Women, the elderly, and teenagers have replaced husbands, fathers, and older brothers and sisters at the machines and in the fields.
It is the sacred duty of each of us to remember the lessons of that terrible war, our heroes, and sacredly honor the unparalleled feat of the older generation.
We sincerely thank you for the fortitude that nothing can break, and for the courage that you have shown. I bow low for the clear sky above my head! We are for a peaceful and creative life!
I sincerely wish you all good health, peace, well-being and prosperity!
Chairman of the Karabalyk district maslikhat G.S. Balbayeva.
