On the results of socio-economic development of Kyzylorda region for January – October 2024

The area of the region is 226 thousand square kilometers.
The population as of September 1, 2024 is 845.4 thousand people, of which 397.6 thousand people (47.0%) are urban.
The region consists of 7 districts and 1 city of regional significance (Kyzylorda), 2 cities of district significance (Aral and Kazaly).
Ethnic structure: Kazakhs - 96.2%, Russians - 1.5%, Koreans - 1%, others - 1.3%.
The volume of industrial production amounted to KZT 903.5 billion, the index of physical volume – 100.8%.
The volume of production in the manufacturing industry amounted to KZT 298.1 billion, the index of physical volume – 122.8%.
The volume of gross agricultural output amounted to KZT 193.1 billion, or 103.0% of the corresponding period of 2023.
The volume of investment in fixed assets increased by 15.7% and amounted to KZT 478.3 billion.
The volume of completed construction work amounted to KZT 193.9 billion, or 150.2% of the corresponding period of 2023. 646.2 thousand square meters of housing were commissioned (an increase of 4.6%).
The volume of trade increased by 6.5% and amounted to KZT 656.0 billion.
The number of operating small and medium-sized businesses amounted to 65.9 thousand units, compared to the corresponding period of last year, the the index of physical volume is 92.8%.
For financial support of small and medium-sized businesses within the framework of a single comprehensive program in 2024, KZT 9,512.2 million was allocated, including KZT 7,862.0 million for the loan interest rate subsidy instrument, KZT 1,159.0 million for the partial guarantee instrument, KZT 73.1 million for the instrument of providing state grants to business entities for the implementation of business ideas and KZT 418.1 million for infrastructure development.
The local budget received its own revenues in the amount of KZT 127,578.9 million, which increased by 52.0% or KZT 43,639.7 million compared to 2023.
