Anti-corruption events were held in Keles district of Turkestan region.

   The Department of Internal State Audit for Turkestan region organized a working trip to Keles district on September 15–16, 2025. The trip was led by Askhat Sadykbekov, Acting Deputy Head of the Department and Ethics Commissioner.

   The meeting was attended by the Deputy Akim of the district, a representative of the prosecutor’s office, heads and responsible employees of state institutions, as well as state auditors.

   During the working trip, issues related to the prevention of corruption risks and compliance with standards of official ethics were thoroughly explained. Additionally, the “Online Budget Monitoring (OBM)” system and its role in controlling the use of budget funds were presented, followed by an open exchange of opinions.

   Anonymous surveys, as well as suggestions and comments, were collected from the heads and employees of state institutions. Furthermore, an interim report from state auditors was heard, and identified violations were discussed.

   This event is expected to contribute to the prevention of corruption, increase the responsibility of civil servants, and promote the effective use of budget funds.
