
The Department of Internal State Audit for North Kazakhstan Region, with the participation of chief experts–state auditors from the Committee of Internal State Audit of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan, held a meeting with representatives of the internal audit service of the Akimat of North Kazakhstan Region.
During the meeting, participants reviewed reports on the results of control activities carried out over the reporting period, discussed methods to improve audit quality, and explored ways to unify audit practices.
Challenging cases of law enforcement arising during audit assignments were examined, and possible solutions were proposed.
Particular attention was paid to ensuring the objectivity of auditor performance evaluations, including during internal quality control processes. Participants emphasized the importance of continuous professional development, experience sharing, and methodological support from the Committee.
As a result of the meeting, recommendations were developed to strengthen coordination between audit units, an action plan was approved for improving audit activities, and a unified approach to resolving contentious issues was agreed upon.
Such meetings help strengthen professional cooperation, ensure methodological consistency, and serve as an important factor in enhancing the effectiveness of internal state audit.
