Scheduled inspection in the social sphere

In accordance with the list of audit objects for 2025, a scheduled inspection was conducted by G. Berniyazova, Deputy Head of the Department of Internal State Audit of Mangistau Region, at the Beineu District Employment and Social Programs Department.

The audit covered the following areas:

• Justification and accuracy of budget expenditures;

• Procedures for providing services by individual assistants to citizens with Group I disabilities who have mobility impairments;

• Procedures for assigning targeted social assistance;

• Provision of one-time social assistance to certain categories of needy citizens;

• Provision of social assistance to social sector specialists working in rural areas for fuel purchases (in healthcare, education, culture, sports, social protection, and veterinary sectors).

Following the audit, a final meeting was held at the department with the participation of G. Berniyazova. During the meeting, explanations were provided on compliance with legislation, identified violations were discussed, and comprehensive answers were given to the questions from department staff. Proposals were made, and specific measures to improve the quality of work going forward were considered.

The Department of Internal State Audit of Mangistau Region will continue its efforts to ensure transparency and efficiency in the use of budget funds, as well as to improve the social support system for the population.
