Corruption risks in state bodies: diagnosis and prevention

Under the chairmanship of the Commissioner for Ethics of the Internal State Audit Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Akhmetov Renad Kalidulovich, a seminar was held on an important topic - preventing cases when civil servants appear in public places or drive drunk vehicles.

At the seminar, alarming facts sounded: the presence of officials in a drunken state undermines not only their personal life, but also the authority of the entire state structure.

Civil servants should be an example for society, the seminar participants emphasized. That is why it is necessary to strictly observe the norms of behavior and take decisive measures to prevent such incidents.

The discussion was attended by the Commissioner for Ethics of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan K.B. Arystanbekova, representatives of the anti-corruption service, as well as the police department of Astana.

Experts discussed the importance of control, prevention and toughening of punishments against those who violate ethical standards and the law.

The problem requires urgent solutions and it is necessary to strengthen the fight against such phenomena.
