In 2022, by Presidential decree, was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant General of National Security.

Карьера

1994-2006 – served in the national security authorities in officer positions;

2006-2019 – served in the Presidential Security Service in officer and senior positions;

2019-2021 – Deputy Head of the State Security Service – Head of the Presidential Security Service of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

2021-2022 – Acting Head, Head of the State Security Service of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

Since January 2022 – Chairman of the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
